Welcome to Film This Production Services, Inc. Film This! Opened it’s doors and took it’s first location permit and signature job in January of 2003 and haven’t looked back since. Tim Ballou and Wade Stevens created Film This! for a simple reason…. We are determined to make location filming in Southern California as easy as possible by offering a wide variety of services. No, Film This! is not a replacement for your scout or location manager. Instead, we pride ourselves on becoming an integral member of your production family. We offer you a support staff of professionals who specialize in location permits and on-location necessities such as signature surveys and “no parking” sign posting, all of which you may not have the time or the patience for. We have built relationships with Government agencies all over the country as well as a number of location related companies providing everything from layout boards to barricades to awnings needed for shelter. Tim Ballou has been working in the entertainment industry since January of 1999. Tim has been a part of hundreds of Music Video and Commercial productions as well as a number of the industry's largest television and feature film productions. As a result, Tim has a very strong knowledge of what it takes to get you what you need. Last minute jobs, low budget jobs, huge budget jobs, it doesn’t matter. You will always be treated with the respect and understanding that you deserve. Allow Tim to use his vast experience paired with multiple City, County and State agency relationships to help you get what you need, when you need it.

Wade Stevens has been working in the entertainment industry for more than twelve years. Wade started his career with a well-known permit service then moved on to work for the EIDC. During his stay with the EIDC, Wade managed the field services department which included the notification and delivery team. He reviewed signature surveys and coordinated film permits. After that, Wade moved on to manage a field service team for over three and a half years. In January of 2003 Wade teamed with Tim to start Film This! While at Film This! we have built a diverse signature survey team. We have also developed a verifiable notification system. This knowledge will be used to make sure your production receives everything that has been requested in a cost effective and timely manner. With hundreds of signature, notification and posting jobs completed, you can rest assured that you’re in good hands!
