L.A. County and Port of Los Angeles to Increase Some Fees July 1

Effective July 1, 2012, a new schedule of film permit fees goes into effect for the County

Board of Public Works and the Port of Los Angeles. follows:

The Public Works fees are revised as

• L.A. County Flood Control Permit Issuance Fee: $114.00 (from $111.00)

• L.A. County Flood Control Use Fee (motion & still): $814.00 (from $798.00)

• L.A. County Road Use Fee: $319.00 (from $312.00)

• L.A. County Road Application Fee: $144.00 (from $141.00)

• L.A. County Encroachment Permit Processing Fee (per district): $264.00 (from $258.00)

Meanwhile, the Port of Los Angeles will now require Port Police officers to be assigned for all waterside filming and still photography. This is being done for public safety purposes, with staffing now available to accommodate all waterside filming and still photography requests.
