The Los Angeles County Fire Department has asked FilmL.A. to remind filmmakers that the following steps are critical to ensure that filming and special effects permits are processed without delays:
Special effects descriptions must be accurate and match on both filming and special effects permit requests
The same production company name and title are required on both filming and special effects permit requests
Location addresses and dates must be accurate on all permit requests
Submit your request early, complex special effects may require a walk-through.
