Effective Monday, April 16, 2012, Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors will be working with a new parking contractor, Modern Parking Inc. As of that date, the County’s former contractor (PCI) will no longer play any role in coordinating parking for filming at Los Angeles County beaches.
FilmL.A. has met already with representatives from Modern Parking and has pledged to help ease their transition into this new role. From day one, beach parking fee structures and parking guidelines will remain the same, but production companies will have a new contact person:
